Journeyperson / Red Seal Carpenter

We're hiring a Journeyperson / Red Seal Carpenter at KRT Contracting to work in and around Prince George, BC.

At KRT, we're known for our care for our clients, and we're looking for a journeyperson or Red Seal carpenter to join us, who first and foremost, cares too. Which is why aside from being a skilled carpenter, we're looking for people who are:

• Able to follow instructions,
• Good at working independently and as part of a team, and
• Sociable and willing to work with lots of different personalities.

We take on a wide-range of projects in the residential and commercial sectors, so our team needs to have diverse skills. Experience in any or all of these areas is an asset:

• Framing,
• Finishing,
• Cabinetry,
• Drywall and painting,
• Tiling,
• Roofing,
• Flooring,
• Siding, soffit, and facia work,
• Window & door installation,
• Concrete forming and finishing, and
• Sun deck & fence building.

Our work is primarily in the Prince George area, but we do projects out of town as well, which is why we also require a valid BC Class 5 driver's license. If you're hired with us, we'll also provide you with a fully-tooled work truck.

This can be a full-time or part-time position depending on your availability. Our full-time work week is 40 hours, and we pay $38 - $45 per hour depending on your experience. We are looking for someone with a journeyman's ticket or a Red Seal certification in carpentry.
