Description

We're looking for a Full-Time or Part-Time Construction Project Manager to join our team at KRT Contracting in Prince George, BC.

Are you retired from construction and looking for part-time work? Or maybe you're still active and want a full-time job that keeps you off the tools? In this position, you can work anywhere from 20 hours to 40 hours per week, depending on your needs. We want someone who fits with us and our team, and so we're open to accommodating your schedule.

This position would be the first Construction Project Manager role at our company, so we're looking for someone who has at least 10 years of experience, and especially well-rounded experience across the construction industry, including project management and team leadership in both residential construction and commercial construction environments.

This role has ownership of construction project timelines and documents and assists with constructing estimating based on their knowledge and expertise. As such, we need someone with an in-depth understanding of the construction industry, building codes, local ordinances related to construction, and OHS standards. We're primarily carpenters and a strong knowledge of the scope of carpentry in construction is also important.

You'll be in charge of project timelines and documents, coordinating with clients and team members, and managing project assignments, so excellent organizational and communication skills are critically important for this role.

Our Construction Project Manager position pays $38–$46 per hour, plus commission for helping keep our projects efficient and on schedule. We also offer flexible hours, a comprehensive benefits package that includes dental, extended health, and vision coverage, and either a vehicle allowance or a company-supplied vehicle for work-related travel. As this role requires occasional travel to job sites, you'll need a valid BC Class 5 driver's license for this position.
