Description

We're looking for a Project Manager to join our team at KRT Contracting in Prince George, BC.

Are you a retired construction estimator, project manager, or construction foreman looking for part-time work? Or maybe you're still active and want a full-time job that keeps you off the tools? In this position, you can work anywhere from 20 hours to 40 hours per week, depending on your needs. This position would be the first Project Manager role at our company, so we're looking for someone who at least 10 years of experience, and especially well-rounded experience in both the construction industry and managing projects and people.

We need someone with an in-depth understanding of the construction industry, building codes and local ordinances that relate to construction, and OHS standards. We're primarily carpenters and a strong knowledge of the scope of carpentry in construction is also important.

You'll be in charge of project timelines and documents, coordinating with clients and team members, and managing project assignments, so excellent organizational and communication skills are critically important for this role.

Our Project Manager position pays an hourly rate of $38 to $46 plus a commission for helping us keep our projects efficient and on schedule. It also comes with benefits, including flexible hours, a full benefits package with dental, extended health care, and vision care, and a vehicle allowance or company supplied vehicle, since this role comes with some travel to oversee job sites.
